The creative collaboration between the Italian designers Gianluca Bocchetta – Velvet Studio – and Sara Fortin has created the project called Muta1 Collezione Minima. The series is composed of complements matching the minimalism of the structures having essential and linear forms, with the bright colours and vibrant contrasts of the fabrics chosen for the coatings.
The choice between innumerable combinations of the structure colours and finishes and the coating typologies, together with the complement modularity, allow a complete personalization of the elements for being inserted into a private or public space.
The armchairs and the tables are the synthesis of essential geometries characterizing the structures and the upholstered items. The numerous chromatic combinations between the frame and the coatings guarantee flexibility and insertion into different contexts by connoting the milieu.
The sitting, with a seat of large dimensions, is completed with a seatback and, according to the models, with a lateral armrest. All the elements of the family can be combined between them by creating multiple compositions.
The stool and the chair are characterized by the simplicity of the forms, a circular sitting and comfortable padding. The lines recall the style of the sittings of the American bars of the ’60s actualized by the crescent shaped backrest conferring a soft elegance. The numerous combinations between the structure finishes and the coatings make them suitable for any type of milieu.
Realized in collaboration with L’Opificio.
